What's Next??: You Tell Us.
The Burning Man Project and related groups host a variety of community events that are as much a form of social ART-chitecture as they are events. Expect a wide range of gatherings organized to further a sense of community, artistic expression, education, and civic engagement.
On 11.19.2011, the Black Rock Arts Foundation will present its fifth annual fundraising event at the Bently Reserve in downtown San Francisco.
Held at the magnificent Bently Reserve, BRAF’s fifth annual ARTumnal Gathering will present an exquisite evening of tempting libations, bountiful fare, engaging art, and lavish attire. Our guests will enjoy three elegant rooms, each overflowing with art and offering a stunning array of live performances including soaring aerial artistry, and music and DJ’s to dance the night away.
We’re kicking off volunteerism for the Burning Man Project!
The Project will host a volunteer recruitment session on Tuesday, Nov. 15th from 6:30-8:30PM at BMHQ, 995 Market Street (@ 6th Street), 15th Floor.
This is your chance to get involved! The Burning Man Project is still in an early development phase, so we are interested in engaging volunteers to assist with development, programs and process design. We’re eager to engage passionate people like you around the skills that you’d like to bring to the table – in San Francisco through our Civic Involvement Program, and throughout all Project program areas in our aim to support the Ten Principles around the globe.
We will reveal upcoming projects and immediate volunteer needs at this meeting. Join us for snacks and beverages and get plugged into participation in this cultural future!
Please RVSP to email@example.com (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you can make it. We look forward to seeing some of you again, and meeting some of you for the first time.
We are conveniently located at 995 Market Street in San Francisco. Driving and mass transit directions will be sent when you RSVP.
