What's Next??: You Tell Us.
The Burning Man Project and related groups host a variety of community events that are as much a form of social ART-chitecture as they are events. Expect a wide range of gatherings organized to further a sense of community, artistic expression, education, and civic engagement.

Re-Imagine Central Market!
Join ArtisMobilus and participate in the creation of a community mural that re-imagines the future of Central Market. This collaborative mural will be painted on the side of ArtisMobilus, a mobile art gallery founded and curated by Richard Felix. The mural will be displayed anywhere the bus turned art gallery travels. Your creativity and vision for Central Market will carry beyond the event and is an opportunity to express the physical elements you would like to see in the neighborhood.
Get Groovy!

What do you get when you combine aerobics, art and Disco? Let Mz. K! help you work it all out!
Gamelan X – 7:00-8:00 PM
Gamelan X is “The Bay Area’s own Funkadelic of ethnomusicology.” (Todd Lavoie, SF Guardian), is an Oakland based Balinese marching gamelan ensemble that presents a fusion of multi-cultural influences. Dedicated to performing contemporary compositions and arrangements this ensemble embodies the spirit of explorative creativity.

City of Awesome Project
What Do YOU Do To Make Central Market More AWESOME?
ArtisMobilus returns with artist Todd Berman and the City of Awesome Project to continue the creation of the community mural re-imagining Central Market. This time draw an image depicting what you will do (or are currently doing) to make Central Market more AWESOME! Your image or statement will be worked into the mural and displayed on ArtisMobilus. Bring family and friends or collaborate with those you’ve just met to create a unique image of your contribution to Central Market neighborhood or what you’d like to bring to it.
No experience is necessary to create the community mural and all supplies will be provided. Bring your imagination and unleash your inner awesomeness. Burning Man Project volunteers and local artists will help guide the process and you can share ideas with participating community groups and youth organizations.
Dance to the Rhythm!
Loyd Family Players
7:00 – 8:00 PM
The Loyds mix together a bevy of breaks and textures with great precision for a hot and furious dance party. They’ll whip Market Street into a dance frenzy utilizing everything from sultry R&B covers to tongue-in-cheek punk rock sing-alongs!
“…the fiercest female percussion section around.” – SF Guardian.
But wait! There’s more!
